Since 2019 Samaritans have been hiring a 4.2 metre Oregon event trailer from Tow Master for their annual roadshows. They use their roadshows in town centre settings to raise awareness of the support they offer to those in need of assistance.
The town centre locations give good overall visibility to the roadshow and Samaritans branding added to the trailer exterior gives a clear message to anyone who sees the trailer that Samaritans are located there.
Shona Gibbs a Senior Project Manager with the Network Rail Partnership said, “Our dealings with Tow Master have been nothing short of excellent. Everyone we have encountered at Tow Master has been friendly and supportive. Our roadshows dates and locations often change, and Tow Master have been incredibly flexible and accommodating.”
She adds, “They often go above and beyond in helping us – on one occasion we had problems with a council who withdrew permissions on the morning of a roadshow and we were being told we couldn’t set up in the location we had booked, meaning we would have to cancel a roadshow on the day. Sammy from Tow Master was proactive, speaking with the council and he helped us to secure another pitch, meaning we could hold our roadshow. He saved the day!
The Tow Master trailer has had a very strong impact on our brand – we’re able to amplify Samaritans campaigns in a strongly visual and impactful way.”
When asked about the feedback received from customers, Shona says, “We consistently get good feedback, especially from Samaritans volunteers we work with. Comments are made that we look very professional but welcoming. We’re able to encourage people who need help to approach us in a way that they might not otherwise. Last year we spoke to over 150 people who needed help and a further 250 approached us to find out more about Samaritans as a result of seeing us out in town centres.”
Shona adds, “Tow Master are a pleasure to work with – always friendly, flexible and go the extra mile to support our roadshows. Their trailers have a positive, welcoming impact, which enables us to spread the message of Samaritans services and most importantly, to support people who may need our help.”
